A Warm Embrace of Family Living

Our vision for The Parker was clear—to create a family-style haven that exuded warmth and welcome. This was a unique build as it was done with the new homeowners in mind, but not yet chosen. As custom home builders, we set out to create a versatile and functional environment that could serve a variety of families. Every corner of this beautiful home reflects the meticulous planning and attention to detail that Meg & Co Homes is known for.

When building for family life, we want the home to be cozy and welcoming, becoming the place of childhood memories and family gatherings, yet also spacious enough to entertain. Important touches throughout help to accomplish both of these goals, from a wide entry and lots of natural light that immediately sets guests at ease, to an open-concept living area that allows for family moments and togetherness.

The Heart of the Home

We made the kitchen a focal point in this custom-built home, knowing that it’s often central to family life. Plenty of storage makes it functional for any family size, while the island provides extra counter space for food prep or seating for evening homework sessions.

We chose to include a butler’s pantry in our concept design, recognizing that family life often leads to a large amount of prep, cooking, and hosting. This inclusion gives ample space to meet the demands of family cooking while also leaving the main kitchen space feeling peaceful, functional, and ready for visitors.

Carefully Crafted New Construction

Parents need a break too, so we took extra care designing a primary bathroom suite as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house. His and hers vanities and closets allow for plenty of individual space and give everyone a place to retreat and reset. A free-standing tub and tile shower can meet a multitude of needs, from function to relaxation.

We are all too familiar with the amount of laundry that comes with a family, so we took care to make the space both functional and beautiful. With plenty of space and a few design details to make it pretty, this room that families will inevitably spend a lot of time in can be a place that they actually enjoy- looking at, at least.

Capturing the Essence

The Preserve served as the perfect canvas for our craftsmanship, allowing us to integrate our new construction into the natural beauty of Idaho seamlessly. The exterior exudes elegance, while the interior spaces are thoughtfully designed to foster togetherness and create lasting family memories in this desirable community.
