In the realm of custom home builds, each project is a masterpiece, and while we don’t like to play favorites, the Morgan has undoubtedly found a special place in our hearts. This stunning family home is a twist on the modern farmhouse design, seamlessly blending elegance with warmth to create a space that is both beautiful and welcoming.

Modern Farmhouse Exteriors

If it’s all about first impressions, the Morgan’s exteriors will leave any passerby impressed! The natural materials found in the warm stone juxtaposed against the dark siding create a striking and moody contrast. The addition of copper accents not only adds visual interest but also guides the eye around the entire exterior, creating a harmonious flow with clean lines. A noteworthy feature is the house number elegantly spelled out over the beautiful arched entry, adding a unique, eye-catching touch.

The Heart of the Home

In any home, but especially a modern farmhouse family home, the kitchen is integral in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Morgan’s kitchen accomplishes this and then some, embodying the beautiful interplay of light and dark. The large center island, with brass hardware on a white paint oak finish, becomes a focal point, complemented by white and brass lighting overhead. The attention to detail is evident in the light-plastered hood framed by dark gray kitchen cabinets and warm oak open shelves. The result is a cohesive culinary haven with a classic farmhouse feel. You can just picture a family eating Christmas cookies and making memories!

Creating Architectural Harmony

An arched entryway sets the stage for the home, creating a cozy and welcoming first impression. We didn’t stop there though, the arched theme is seamlessly woven throughout with key features such as the large arched window and built-ins flanking the tiled fireplace. The dark gray cabinetry and white oak shelving effortlessly tie in the kitchen finishes, creating a sense of continuity and flow throughout the entire living space

A Tranquil Retreat

For this modern farmhouse-style family home, we wanted the bathroom to be a place of retreat. The double entry arched shower blends style and function while the white oak vanity warms up the space. Arched mirrors echo the theme found throughout the home, creating a peaceful and cohesive look with smooth lines.

Laundry with a View

Even the smallest spaces in the Morgan are intentionally designed. The laundry room, featuring green cabinetry as an accent color, exemplifies simplicity and style. Natural light streaming in through the counter-height larger window completes the space with a thoughtful architectural detail. We can’t promise you’ll have fun with the chore, but at least you’ll have a pretty view!
