This custom-built home was completed in June 2022 and holds a special place in our hearts. The Inspiration for our Custom Home-Build

Every great project begins with inspiration, and for The Hayden, our vision was clear – we wanted to create a custom home that was cozy and welcoming, exuded warmth and hospitality, making it a place where families could thrive and create lasting memories. Our design team jumped into creating a floor plan that would provide just that. 

This project was special because it was a Parade Home and as custom home builders, we wanted to make a lasting impression! Our goal was to design a home that was our trademark quality and innovation that stood out in both design and functionality.

Everyone loves a good trip to the spa! Why not enjoy one every day in your own home? The primary suite offers a spa-like retreat with dark tiles grounding the space and square wall tiles adding a sense of movement and interest. The inclusion of a transom window floods the room with natural light, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere.

Functional and Stylish Laundry

We all probably spend more time in the laundry room than we’d like to, but in this custom home-build, I might not mind it as much! Featuring open shelving, a laundry sink, basket storage, and a hanging rod for drying clothes, this space is both functional and beautiful. It seamlessly connects to both the guest bedroom and the primary bedroom, boasting a tile floor that mimics brick and quartz countertops that mimic soapstone.

Dramatic Powder Bath

In the powder bath, dramatic wallpaper takes center stage, enhanced by dark cabinetry and brass accents that allow the wallpaper to shine without overwhelming the space. This gives the room just the right pop of interest!

Expanding Outdoor Comfort

If entertaining is the goal, a good outdoor living space is a must. We enhanced this one by extending the back porch and adding a statement fireplace. This thoughtful addition was designed to encourage year-round use, from cozy winter evenings to delightful summer gatherings. Can’t you just picture gatherings in this outdoor space? 

Unique Solutions

One of the standout features of The Hayden is the mother-in-law suite, which can be cleverly closed off for use as a short-term rental. This flexible design approach is popular with many homeowners, providing versatile options and the potential for additional income. It features a bedroom with its own fireplace, a kitchenette, a seating area, and a second laundry space with a stackable washer and dryer. Whether grandma or short-term guests call it home, it’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
