At Meg & Co, we believe that great design is inspired by the world around us. Our team of talented women not only create beautiful spaces but also love to explore new places. Just like our clients, we have a passion for travel that fuels our creativity and broadens our horizons. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a month-long adventure (we can dream!), traveling keeps us inspired and brings fresh ideas into our design projects.

Travel-Inspired Design

Our love for travel often finds its way into our home designs. From incorporating vibrant colors inspired by a tropical sunset to using textures and materials reminiscent of a cozy mountain retreat, each journey influences our creative process. We believe that a well-designed home should reflect your personal experiences and adventures, making it a sanctuary filled with cherished memories.

Build Her Retreat: Empowering Female Contractors

We are thrilled to co-host the Build Her Retreat with Integro Builders and construction2style. This retreat is all about empowering female contractors, fostering a community of support, and sharing knowledge and experiences. The next retreat will be held in the beautiful Costa Rica in March 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Need a break from the construction grind? Come get lost with us in the jungle, ladies!

We are women. We are entrepreneurs. We are business owners. We are project managers. We are people managers. We are builders, designers, remodelers, architects – orchestrators within the home industry. We are making it happen. The construction world is evolving, and that evolution is picking up more and more women along the way and we’re all figuring it out as we go! Being a woman in construction is a unique experience – filled with opportunities, challenges, and quirks defined by our skill set.

This is our time, ladies! Join us for an executive female-empowered educational retreat away in the jungle to uplift, empower, educate, unwind, and inspire one another.

LOCATION: Villa Punto De Vista Quepos, Costa Rica

DATE & TIME: March 16 – March 21, 2025

Costa Rica’s stunning landscapes and vibrant culture make it the perfect backdrop for our retreat. We’ll be soaking up the sun, exploring the natural beauty, and, of course, diving into workshops and sessions designed to inspire and empower. From mastering new building techniques to discussing the latest in design trends, the Build Her Retreat is an event not to be missed.

Packing for Costa Rica

As we prepare for our Costa Rica adventure, here are a few essentials that we’ll definitely be packing:

  • Sunscreen and Sunglasses – Protect your skin and eyes from the tropical sun.
  • Lightweight Clothing – Stay cool and comfortable in the warm climate.
  • Travel Journal – Capture your experiences and ideas for future inspiration.
  • Camera – Don’t forget to document the beautiful landscapes and moments from the retreat.
