Meet Daniel, our talented Project Manager at Meg & Co. His journey to us is as unique as the custom homes he loves to build. Originally from Tennessee, Daniel’s career path has started at Middle Tennessee State University. He graduated with a degree in Aerospace Maintenance Management. Later he pursued a Master’s degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary as well. Along the way, he’s developed an incredible set of skills and experiences that make him such a valuable part of our team.

Our Project Manager at Meg & Co, Daniel, Loves Cooking & Golf

Daniel’s weekends are a reflection of his love for family and the simple joys in life. His perfect Saturday starts with putting a pork shoulder on the smoker, followed by a round of golf.

He loves taking his family to the park and sharing a big family dinner. In the evening, he and his wife enjoy a cozy date night at home with a dessert, a game, or a heartfelt conversation on the couch.

When it comes to comfort food, fried chicken is always his go-to, and as an early bird, he’s ready to tackle the day before most of us even wake up!

When asked if he has any hidden talents, Daniel shared that he in fact does have one. He was an avid skateboarder and some would argue he’s still got the skills today.

If Daniel could share a meal with any historical figure, it would be legendary golfer Ben Hogan. Daniel would love to enjoy a hot dog on the golf course while Hogan helped him fix his swing.

Traveling holds a special place in Daniel’s heart, and if he could go anywhere in the world, it would be back home to Tennessee—a place that means a world to him.

Our Project Manager Daniel Is Also a Pastor

A fun fact that people may not know is that he serves as the Pastor over Worship Music and Missions at Twin Falls Community Church, a role that reflects his deep passion for Christ.

When it comes to advice, Daniel shared one of the most meaningful pieces of wisdom he’s ever received from an old Pastor friend. It is a verse from the New Testament, Romans 8:28.

It reads, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Meaning, whatever circumstance we are in, even hard or painful situations, because our Sovereign, good God is in control, we who are in Christ can trust that He will use it for His Glory and our ultimate good.

When it comes to great books, Daniel names “Holiness” by JC Ryle as one of his favorites. Aside from the Bible, this book has had a profound impact on his life and perspective.

If given the chance, Daniel would love to learn Greek and Hebrew to read the original Biblical texts.

Daniel’s Proudest Professional Achievement

Professionally, Daniel is inspired by his Dad, who he describes as the hardest and quickest worker he knows. This work ethic shines through in Daniel’s own career, especially in memorable projects like the custom staircase he built as a finish carpenter. With white oak treads and risers, along with an intricate skirt board, Daniel built the staircase and also finished it himself. The result was a stunning piece that showcased his attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Daniel’s first job was at the Nissan Factory, where he drove cars from the plant to loading lots. While the experience taught him many things including, that night shifts aren’t for him. As there was an after a dozing-at-the-wheel incident. It also laid the groundwork for his work ethic and the path that led him to where he is today.

Daniel Is Passionate About Construction

Daniel’s passion for building homes with tons of character is infectious, and his dedication to his craft is unmatched. He joined Meg & Co after discovering a job posting, meeting Meg at a “Rebranding Party”. Soon after, his life changed in more ways than one. He started a new job and became a proud dad to a little girl, making his family a party of four!

We’re so proud to have Daniel on our team. His relational skills, passion for his work, and curiosity to stay updated with industry trends (thank you, YouTube!) make him an irreplaceable part of Meg & Co. Whether he’s collaborating with clients or managing a project with precision, Daniel embodies everything we value in our team members. Here’s to many more custom homes and happy years with Daniel leading the way!
